The article discusses the relationships between gender, agroecology and domestic and community economic practices based on reflections derived from the application of participatory research methodologies to women's economic organizations located in the Mata Mineira (MG) region. The dialogue with the trajectories, life and work experiences of these women demonstrate the relevance of domestic and female extradomestic activities in structuring agroecology, in the composition of family income and in the material organization of life in rural communities. The innumerable achievements related to its organizational processes and the challenges presented to the maintenance and improvement of its activities bring us to the reflection the need to envisage a plurality of feminisms and that can be identified through the relations between gender, race / ethnicity, work and space.
