It is with this mischievous quote that Fabio Rossinelli (2022) begins his work Geography and
imperialism, from Switzerland to the Congo, published in 2022 by Alphil-Presses universitaire suisses
(fig. 1). This review of the work will be organized into three parts: first a presentation of the author
and his work, as well as the context of publication of the book and its objectives. In the second part, a reminder
major points of the work and its theoretical contributions. To conclude, a critique and a
opening to decolonial reflections in the Swiss context.
