Abstract

Polifemo cegador. La geografia y los modelos del mundo de Franco Farinelli (2021) corresponds to
Spanish language edition of Geography. Un’introduction there modelli of the world. Compared to the
original, published by Editora Einaudi (Farinelli, 2003), this edition presents an exposition of content
slightly different, since, in the Italian version, each chapter is spread over two
pages so that each unit of the book can be read as if you were leafing through an atlas. Farinelli,
Through this original layout, I wanted to give even more emphasis to the centrality assumed in the text by the atlas,
an instrument of geographic representation that contributed decisively to the transformation of
Earth globe in space.
