Adaptación transcultural de la escala Nurse Manager Practice Environment para el contexto português

Resumen

Introducción: La importancia del Entorno Práctico de Enfermería ha sido corroborada por un creciente cuerpo de evidencia científica, resultado de estudios llevados a cabo con equipos de enfermería que prestan cuidados, principalmente en entornos hospitalarios. La importancia de este concepto ha sido corroborada por un conjunto creciente de pruebas científicas resultantes de estudios realizados con equipos de enfermería que prestan cuidados, en su mayoría en entornos hospitalarios. Dado el papel específico y preponderante de las enfermeras gestoras en las organizaciones sanitarias, es igualmente importante evaluar su entorno de práctica enfermera y determinar su impacto.

Objetivo: Adaptar la escala Nurse Manager Practice Environment (NMPE) al contexto portugués.

Métodos: Estudio metodológico, que siguió el método utilizado por el consorcio RN4CAST - Nurse Forecasting in Europe (Squires et al., 2013). Se completaron las etapas de traducción, síntesis, retrotraducción, evaluación semántica, validez de contenido y pretest.

Resultados: Se obtuvo un índice de validez de contenido de 0,80 para toda la escala (S - CVI) y de 0,78 para cada ítem (I - CVI). Todos los expertos coincidieron en que se mantenía la equivalencia de la traducción. Los resultados del pre-test no mostraron necesidad de cambios y la entrevista cognitiva reveló buenos niveles de comprensión.

Conclusión: La versión portuguesa de la escala NMPE mostró equivalencia de contenido, semántica, técnica y conceptual.
