Throughout the 20th century, there was an intense debate about the function of the text in the theatrical event. One of the consequences of this debate was that, in the passage to the 21st century, the idea that the word dramaturgy would no longer be exclusively applied to the literary writing of a text for the theatrical scene was already consolidated. Nor to its interpretation. Moreover, it could even not be linked to any text or meaning. The present article intends to point out the articulation of the dramaturgies of the actor, the director and the spectator followed by the director Eugenio Barba and his theater group Odin Teatret.
