Communication is innate to men, aphasia becomes a problem for the person, family and informal caregivers. Aphasia is understood as a disorder that affects all aspects of language. The informal caregiver and the nurse, have an important role in the autonomy of the person with aphasia, minimizing anguish and limitations. A Scoping Review was developed with the question: Which nursing interventions enable the informal caregiver of a person with aphasia in the home context? The research was carried out with MeSH descriptors, combining the research strategy Nurs*AND Aphasia OR Homenursing AND Caregivers. The selection process of the studies was developed according to the PRISMA 2009 Flow Diagram, guaranteeing their methodological quality, highlighting the nurse’s role as a care provider and case manager, his or hers aspect of team-leader and mediator, in order to create a care network adapted to individual needs, shaped by shared values between the team, person and family.
