INTERVENÇÕES DE ENFERMAGEM NA PREVENÇÃO DE QUEDAS DOS IDOSOS: UMA SCOPING REVIEW

Os problemas de saúde dos idosos provocados pelas quedas, representam um grande encargo para o idoso, família e sociedade. Desenvolveu-se uma Scoping Review com a questão: quais as intervenções de enfermagem na prevenção de quedas no idoso? A pesquisa foi realizada com descritores Medical Subject Headings, conjugando a estratégia de pesquisa: Nurs* AND Accidental Falls AND Eldrely. Procedeu-se à pesquisa de artigos publicados entre 01/01/2014 a 31/01/2019, em bases de dados de referência. O processo de seleção dos estudos desenvolveu-se de acordo com o PRISMA 2009 Flow Diagram, garantindo a qualidade metodológica dos mesmos. Nas evidências obtidas identificou-se a importância da avaliação de risco multifatorial e das intervenções da enfermagem na prevenção de quedas nos idosos, no sentido de os eliminar ou minimizar.
