The International Conference on Digital Transformation - International Cooperation, multiculturalism, collaborative work and more inclusive, sustainable and resilient environments was held in the Auditorium of the School of Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém on 17th December 2021.

The current pandemic state, which will begin in the first quarter of 2020, has forced industries and organizations to have the ability to adapt to the successive and long confinements that have forced them to seek alternative ways to maintain their activity, which also included the need to intensify their digital transformation plan associated with distance working models where collaborative work, inclusive, sustainable and resilient environments are associated with multiculturalism and internationalization that characterize the current global organizations... complex and constantly changing.

The international conference "Digital Transformation - International cooperation, multiculturalism, collaborative work and more inclusive, sustainable and resilient environments" incorporated this current global context and aimed to create a privileged meeting point for sharing, dissemination and discussion of topics of interest and practices in the field of digital transformation in a time of pandemic.

The conference took place on 17 December 2021 and was broadcast in real time, from the Colibri/Zoom session, on the Facebook page of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém and in person at the ESGTS Auditorium, with a total number of nearly sixty participants.

Participating in the event were authors from three Continents (European, African and American); two Research Centres, CIAC - Centro de Investigação em Artes e Comunicação - Universidade do Algarve with the involvement in the organization of its Digital Literacy and Social Inclusion Centre of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém; CIEQV - Quality of Life Research Centre based at the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém; Universities from the three Continents, the University of Santiago - Cape Verde, the University of Brasília - Brazil, the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Gaza in Mozambique, the University of Évora and the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém.
