  • ATTENTION: Failure to comply with these instructions may result in the rejection of the manuscript.

  • The manuscript has been submitted exclusively to Finisterra and is not under peer review, in the process of publication, or published in another journal;
  • The manuscript does not contain abusive, defamatory, libellous, obscene, fraudulent, or illegal content;
  • The submission files are in Microsoft Word format and do not exceed 2MB in size;

Author Guidelines

For more information on the types of manuscripts accepted by the journal, formatting guidelines (text, figures and tables), cartographic standards and bibliographic norms, authors should consult the Instructions for Authors page.

Submission and Verification Statement

The submission of a manuscript implies that it:

a) has not been previously published, except in the form of an abstract, conference paper, or academic thesis;

b) is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;

c) has been approved for publication by all authors, and either explicitly or implicitly by the responsible institutions where the research was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form or in any other language, including electronically, without the written consent of the copyright holder.

To verify its originality, the manuscript will be checked using the originality/similarity detection service currently used by CEG: Turnitin.

Plagiarism

Manuscripts submitted to Finisterra cannot be considered for publication without appropriate authorship attribution. Plagiarism is unacknowledged copying, and it is considered to have clearly occurred when significant portions of text have been “cut and pasted” without proper and unequivocal attribution. Even when reusing text, whether from the authors’ own previous publications or those of others, appropriate citation and referencing are required to avoid misleading the readers.

Privacy Statement

The names and addresses provided in this journal will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication and are not available for other purposes or to third parties.
