Author Guidelines

For more information about the types of manuscripts accepted in the journal, manuscript formatting rules (text, figures and tables), cartographic rules and bibliographic rules, authors should consult the page Guidelines for Authors.

Submission Statement and Verification

Submission of a manuscript implies that it: a) has not been previously published, except in the form of an abstract, lecture or academic thesis; b) is not being considered for publication by another publisher; c) to be published that is approved by all authors, and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible entities where the research was carried out, and which, if accepted, will not be published elsewhere in the same format, or in any other language, including electronically, without the written consent of the copyright holder. To check its originality, your text can be checked by the originality/similarity detection service that CEG currently uses: Ouriginal. This solution brings together a combined plagiarism detection solution from Urkund and PlagScan.

Plagiarism

Manuscripts submitted to Finisterra cannot be considered for publication on the journal without proper attribution of authorship. Plagiarism is an unrecognized copy and can clearly be said to have occurred when remarkable amounts of text were “copy and paste” without proper and unambiguous attribution of authorship. Likewise, when reusing text, whether from the authors' own publication or of others, adequate attribution and citation are necessary to avoid misperception to readers.
