"Eu&i - european awareness and intercomprehension": um desafio europeu
Abstract
O conceito de Intercompreensão tem vindo a tornar-se objecto de um interesse tanto mais alargado quanto mais as vivências multiculturais e plurilingues se têm revelado, de facto, como um dos mais importantes desafios europeus na actualidade.
Face aos novos cenários nacionais que se têm constituído na organização mundial contemporânea, é cada vez mais consensual que a activação de competências de intercompreensão pode assumir-se como uma resposta possível às necessidades comunicacionais subjacentes às interacções multiculturais; embora subsistam, como é natural, posições cépticas, que encaram este conceito como extremamente utópico, a intercompreensão é uma realidade que já faz parte das nossas vidas, nas mais diversas situações comunicativas.
