The use of technology is currently facilitating access to health information, with the aim of this article to share the construction and structure of the online platform for health promotion in the areas of healthy eating, sexuality and tobacco and alcohol consumption in students of the 3rd Cycle of Portuguese Basic Education. Five steps were implemented: decision on the channels to be adopted; formation of the technological team; tool development; approval and enforcement. We highlight the literature review, whose findings showed the use of social tools in health interventions and the integration of students in a computer course, who developed skills in a real context. The architecture of this tool includes information content (articles, glossary, videos) and a forum, developed to ensure the anonymity of the participants. The construction and development of the platform allowed the dissemination of adequate information with an impact on the target audience, constituting an innovative product in health research.
