  This editorial marks the beginning of a new cycle in the path of the Portuguese Journal of Education (PJE), as the present issue (n.º 1, Vol. 36) is the first to bring together works that have since been made available in the form of continuous publication. With this change, RPE reinforces its role in building Open Science in Education.

  Este volume reúne 20 artigos, envolvendo um total de 58 autores, a maior parte dos quais proveniente do Brasil, encontrando-se também um número considerável de artigos de investigadores portugueses e, em menor número, espanhóis. 

  Organizámos a apresentação dos artigos de acordo com sete temáticas, nomeadamente: ‘Digitalização da comunicação na Educação’, ‘Ensino superior’, ‘Ensino, aprendizagem e avaliação’, ‘Formação profissional’, ‘Famílias na escola’, ‘Inclusão e diferenciação pedagógica’, e ‘História da Educação’. Esta organização, instrumental para os nossos propósitos, não capta, contudo, a forma como diferentes temáticas permeiam vários dos estudos apresentados.

  It is with great satisfaction that we announce the publication of the first issue of the 35th volume of Portuguese Journal of Education, relative to the year 2022. This issue consists of 23 articles, of which 19 are regular articles and four are part of a Thematic Nucleus. Participate in it, 67 authors from various scientific areas participate in it. The articles deal with a considerable diversity of themes.
