O serviço assenta na plataforma de publicação e gestão de publicações OJS – Open Journal System, um sistema open source com uma ampla comunidade de utilizadores e forte impacto no domínio open access.

Este serviço disponibilizado no âmbito do projeto RCAAP é fornecido em SaaS (Software as a Service) e são desenvolvidas todas as atividades de atualização, monitorização, backups, segurança.

Além dos aspetos técnicos, o serviço disponibiliza ainda um serviço de apoio ao editor da revista, assim como a formação necessária à utilização do sistema.

  • Cinema & Território

    Cinema & Território (C&T), an international journal on the art and anthropology of images, is an annual scientific publication, produced within the University of Madeira (UMa), under the direction of Christine Escallier, PhD (2016-2019), who in the first year (2016-2017) had as Vice-Director Pau Pascual Galbis and Teresa Norton Dias, PhD, since March 2020. In May 2021, António Baía Reis, PhD and Guida Mendes, PhD joined the team and in August 2023, Inês Rebanda Coelho Coelho, PhD.


    C&T is open to proposals for publication, from internal and external researchers to UMa, that fall within the fields of arts and film studies, visual anthropology and images and other scientific areas that address the themes listed or that intersect with them.  These proposals for publication will be subject to scientific arbitration according to the open model of peer review.     Established in 1963, Análise Social is published quarterly by the Institute of Social Sciences (ICS) of the University of Lisbon and is the oldest multidisciplinary Social Sciences journal in Portugal.     The Journal of Nursing Referência (RER) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Health Sciences Research Unit: Nursing (UICISA: E).   • Revista Portuguesa de Pedopsiquiatria

    Revista Portuguesa de Pedopsiquiatria (RPP) é uma publicação científica da Associação Portuguesa de Psiquiatria da Infância e da Adolescência (APPIA). Publica artigos originais, na área da saúde mental da infância e adolescência, nas seguintes vertentes: investigação científica, revisão bibliográfica, exposição e discussão de casos clínicos e resumos críticos de livros ou artigos com particular relevância.


    A RPP procura privilegiar a diversidade e multidisciplinaridade, contando com artigos de autores portugueses e estrangeiros sobre psicopatologia na infância e adolescência, intervenções psicoterapêuticas e psicofarmacológicas, desenvolvimento psicoafectivo, promoção em saúde mental e adaptação à doença, bem como temas relacionados com o contexto familiar, comunitário e cultural.


    A primeira edição da RPP foi publicada em dezembro de 1990, com o apoio da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian e até à data foram publicados 45 números, em geral com uma periodicidade bianual. A pandemia COVID teve um impacto significativo no funcionamento da APPIA, e implicou uma interrupção na regularidade da sua publicação, que foi retomada no segundo semestre de 2023. 


    A apresentação pública da RPP decorreu no I Encontro da Associação Portuguesa de Psiquiatria da Infância e da Adolescência, tendo sido feita por Coimbra de Matos, que foi o seu Diretor até 2003. Posteriormente, e até 2014, foi dirigida por Maria Luís Borges de Castro, que deu continuidade ao projeto inicial, dinamizando não só a edição da RPP, mas também a organização regular dos Colóquios da Revista. Pedro Pires foi Diretor entre 2014 e 2017, e seguidamente, até 2023, a Direção foi assumida por Paula Pinto de Freitas, que promoveu a informatização da RPP e a sua colocação no Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal, com melhoria significativa da sua acessibilidade.


    Atualmente a RPP tem como Diretora Teresa Goldschmidt, e como Diretoras-Adjuntas Ana Margarida Moreira, Inês Barroca e Maria do Carmo Santos.


     


    The Revista Portuguesa de Pedopsiquiatria (RPP) is a scientific publication of the Portuguese Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Publishes original articles in the area of mental health in childhood and adolescence, in the following areas: scientific research, bibliographic review, presentation and discussion of clinical cases and critical summaries of books or articles of particular relevance.


    The RPP seeks to privilege diversity and multidisciplinarity, with articles by portuguese and foreign authors on psychopathology in childhood and adolescence, psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological interventions, psycho-affective development, mental health promotion and adaptation to illness, as well as themes related to the family, community and cultural context.


    The first edition of RPP was published in December 1990, with the support of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and to date 45 issues have been published, generally on a biannual basis. The COVID pandemic had a significant impact on the functioning of APPIA, and resulted in an interruption in the regularity of its publication, which was resumed in the second half of 2023.


    The public presentation of the RPP took place at the 1st Meeting of the Portuguese Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and was made by Coimbra de Matos, who was its Director until 2003. Subsequently, and until 2014, it was directed by Maria Luís Borges de Castro, which continued the initial project, dynamizing not only the edition of RPP, but also the regular organization of the Magazine's Colloquiums. Pedro Pires was Director between 2014 and 2017, and then, until 2023, the Directorship was assumed by Paula Pinto de Freitas, who promoted the informatization of the RPP and its placement in the Portuguese Open Access Scientific Repository, with a significant improvement in its accessibility.


    Currently, RPP has Teresa Goldschmidt as Director, and Ana Margarida Moreira, Inês Barroca and Maria do Carmo Santos as Deputy Directors.

    Anais de História de Além-Mar (AHAM) [Annals of Overseas History] is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by CHAM – Centre for the Humanities, an inter-university research unit of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of NOVA University Lisbon (NOVA FCSH) and of the University of the Azores (UAc), referenced and indexed in international data bases.






    The journal's main objective is to publish original and relevant academic works about the Portuguese overseas expansion, from the outset of the first "great navigations" (15th century) to the end of the “Overseas Empire” (20th century).     Finisterra, edited since 1966 by the Centre of Geographical Studies, University of Lisbon (CEG, University of Lisbon), is the oldest and one of the leading geography journals in Portugal. It publishes original research in various areas of human and physical geography including environmental resources and hazards, local and regional planning, territory planning, local and regional development, and geographical information systems, among others. Finisterra is an important resource for junior and senior researchers, either as university students or research planners. It is published in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. Each article includes the title, abstract, keywords, and image and graph titles in at least two languages. Three issues are published per year since 2016 (April, August and December). At Finisterra, the quality of submitted manuscripts is evaluated by an editor, an editorial board and a double peer review process.     Interacções is a journal in electronic format, of free access, with continuous publication, which publishes three issues per year - regular or special/thematic -, composed of original and unpublished articles on research or theoretical reflection in cultures and arts, science, languages and literatures, didactics, sociology, psychology, administration, technologies seen in its relation with education. Only articles that fall within these fields of action of the journal will be accepted. The journal intends to become a privileged international space of interaction between different areas of knowledge, as well as to contribute to scientific knowledge and consolidation of the research carried out in these areas.     Apart from manuscripts submitted individually, Interacções accepts proposals for thematic issues.

    Psilogos journal aims to contribute to the advancement of scientific and technical education in all domains of mental health. Published twice a year in full open-access, it accepts original research and review papers, case reports, critical book reviews as well as other articles deemed important for the theory or practice of mental health. Every two years it publishes the proceedings of the Symposium organised by the Psychiatry Department of Hospital Prof. Doutor Fernando Fonseca, EPE.

  • Revista Jurídica Portucalense

    Portucalense Law Journal (Revista Jurídica Portucalense) is published every six months in digital format in open acess and is available through the RCAAP platform (Scientific Open Access Repository of Portugal).


    Towards the continuous enrichment of its content and the dissemination of legal thinking, Portucalense Law Journal and the Portucalense Institute for Legal Research appeal for the scientific community's contribution in all Law-related areas. To this end, the Journal will receive the submission of original works, which, after evaluation and approval by a peer committee through the international double-blind peer review method, will be published in the "Scientific Research" section.

    Oftalmologia is the official journal of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Oftalmologia (SPO) and publishes primarily basic and clinical research works, such as original articles, review articles, clinical cases, related to ophthalmology in its different specialties, as well as topics from areas of knowledge with interest for medical-surgical practice and clinical process in the perspective of clinical governance in ophthalmology.

    PRESENTATION and HISTORY


    Sinais de Cena (Performing Arts and Theatre Studies Journal) publishes new research on the Performing Arts and Theatre Studies.


    It's an annual journal, specialised in theatre and performing arts studies, produced by the Centre for Theatre Studies (CET) of the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (FLUL), in collaboration with the Portuguese Association of Theatre Critics (APCT).


    Sinais de Cena was founded in 2004 by Carlos Porto, Luiz Francisco Rebello, Paulo Eduardo Carvalho and Maria Helena Serôdio, who edited it until 2014, with an issue coming out each semester (in June and December) during these first ten years. It was initially published by Campo das Letras (up until issue 10 in December 2008). Húmus then took over publication for issues 11 (June 2009) to 22 (December 2014), always with Maria Helena Serôdio as its Editor. Series II begun in June 2016 and was published by Orfeu Negro, with Rui PIna Coelho as its Editor. From 2022 onwards the magazine is published only in the digital form and operating on the OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform, edited by Marta Brites Rosa.

  • Sisyphus — Journal of Education

    Sisyphus — Journal of Education aims to be a place for debate on political, social, economic, cultural, historical, curricular and organizational aspects of education. It pursues an extensive research agenda, embracing the opening of new conceptual positions and criteria according to present tendencies or challenges within the global educational arena.


    The journal publishes papers displaying original researches—theoretical studies and empirical analyses—and expressing a wide variety of methods, in order to encourage the submission of both innovative and provocative work based on different orientations, including political ones. Consequently, it does not stand by any particular paradigm; on the contrary, it seeks to promote the possibility of multiple approaches. The editors will look for articles in a wide range of academic disciplines, searching for both clear and significant contributions to the understanding of educational processes. They will accept papers submitted by researchers, scholars, educational administration professionals, teachers, students, and well-informed observers of the educational field and correlative domains. Additionally, the journal will encourage and accept proposals embodying unconventional elements, such as photographic essays and artistic creations.

  • Sociologia, Problemas e Práticas

    Sociologia, Problemas e Práticas is a scientific journal whose main purpose is to publish sociological analysis articles resulting from original research, the development of theory, or thematic evaluation. It also accepts papers from other social science areas, where there is an interdisciplinary interest. It is directed towards an international audience, publishing articles in Portuguese, English Spanish and French, by authors from various countries. The journal's editorial stance is governed by principles of scientific quality, paradigmatic pluralism and social relevance. It aims to ensure that the articles published make a significant contribution to the advance of knowledge. Articles submitted for publication undergo a blind independent review by at least two recognised specialists drawn from a range of countries.The journal Sociologia, Problemas e Práticas was established in 1986, since when it has been published without interruption. It is indexed in various international bibliographic databases.
