Assédio escolar no contexto da Educação Física em Extremadura (Espanha)

O assédio escolar, entendido como agressão repetida e intencional entre pares, pode afetar gravemente a saúde mental, psicológica e social dos estudantes, bem como o seu desempenho académico, contribuindo para o aumento da violência escolar. A Educação Física tem sido identificada como um contexto em que esses comportamentos podem emergir, mas também como um espaço com grande potencial preventivo através da promoção de valores pró-sociais. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o assédio escolar nas aulas de Educação Física utilizando o European Bullying Intervention Project Questionnaire (EBIPQ) numa amostra de 1.155 estudantes espanhóis do Ensino Secundário Obrigatório e do Bacharelado. Os resultados revelaram associações estatisticamente significativas entre o assédio escolar e variáveis como sexo, nível educativo, ambiente escolar, prática diária de atividade física e, em menor medida, o tipo de escola. Estes achados reforçam a necessidade de que as administrações e as escolas implementem programas de prevenção especificamente concebidos para o contexto da Educação Física, com o duplo objetivo de reduzir comportamentos de assédio escolar e promover o bem-estar mental e a saúde sustentável no meio escolar.
