This editorial marks the beginning of a new cycle in the path of the Portuguese Journal of Education (PJE), as the present issue (n.º 1, Vol. 36) is the first to bring together works that have since been made available in the form of continuous publication. With this change, RPE reinforces its role in building Open Science in Education.
